On April 14, 2020, the U.S. Air Force awarded Noble a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for up to $120,000 to provide COVID-19 facility cleaning services at Aviano Air Base in northeastern Italy. The Italian Air Force has ownership of the base, which hosts the U.S. Air Force's 31st Fighter Wing. The BPA is Noble's second cleaning services contract awarded for services at Aviano Air Base. The BPA allows Noble to provide COVID-19 cleaning to authorized customers. Noble will perform the work under a permit from the Italian Inspectorate of Labor in accordance with the Italian Ministry of Health regulations.
To complete the COVID-19 facility cleaning, Noble will disinfect, clean, and decontaminate all surfaces within the facilities. This includes the ceilings, walls, floors, cubicles, furniture, fixtures and doorknobs, restrooms, and HVAC systems. Noble will provide waste services to handle the removal of wastes, including all hazardous wastes according to host nation requirements. The work will be inspected and accepted by 31 FW/CCPP Safety and Occupational Health Manager and/or 31 MDG assigned personnel according to procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation clause FAR 52.212-4(a).
