USAF Awards COCESS Contract to Noble for Operations at Hurlburt Field
Noble has been awarded a 5-year contract for retail storefront operations at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Under this award, Noble will open a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) to support USAF Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) personnel and Facility Managers at Hurlburt Field. Noble will issue and deliver materials, tools, and equipment for work tasks, construction, recurring preventive maintenance, repairs, and the Base U-Fix-it program. Noble will provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, transportation, and materials necessary for the retail operation.
The Noble Storefront will offer electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, sheet metal, welding, pipefitting, carpentry, pavement, controls and alarms, painting, hardware, liquid fuels maintenance, power production, generators, water and waste treatment, pest control, and other general commercial construction supplies and materials.
The indefinite-quantity contract allows sales of Firm Fixed-Price items with a maximum ceiling value of $11M. All work will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Hurlburt Field is home to the 1st Special Operations Wing (1st SOW), a part of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1SOCONS), is the contracting activity. The ordering period will begin on October 1, 2020, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025.
