Supplier and Catalog Development
Noble identifies and develops key suppliers for the products government operations require. Our vendor management team sources product manufacturers, manages relationships, and evaluates performance. Our supply chain managers have been building our catalog for more than 35 years.
Tailored Product Catalogs for Government
The vendor team curates our list of manufacturers and suppliers to include TAA and Berry Amendment compliant materials, American-made products, AbilityOne® products, and Green products such as BioPrefered, WaterSense, ENERGY STAR® and CPG products.
Support for Small Businesses
Noble’s vendor support gives small businesses access to the DoD construction business worldwide. Our Supplier portfolio includes veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, HUBZone, small disadvantaged and women-owned businesses. Noble provides access to government supply opportunities for these small business types, whose products and services enrich our catalog.
Noble's proven methodology identifies potential vendor risks and provides ongoing oversight.
Noble monitors the KPIs that we have identified to ensure that our vendors are meeting our supplier agreement requirements. After the first quarter, we grade the vendor from A to D based on on-time delivery, product conformance, product defects, price, and customer service and our Buying Team reviews quarterly to update the grade based on the KPIs that we’ve established per vendor.
Noble uses Supplier Scorecards to rank the supplier’s relative performance within the supply base and track improvement in supplier’s quality over time. Scorecards also provide a data point into any future business negotiations.
At the end of the year, Noble’s VP for Purchasing reviews the supplier list. Any supplier rated C or below is given a detailed warning to comply with our supplier agreement and meet our performance criteria. If they don’t comply within 30 days, we drop the vendor and find an alternate supplier.
