Course Description

FoamIQ: Flammable Liquids Technician - 8-Hour Training This comprehensive 8-hour course is designed for technician-level personnel and includes both lectures and hands-on training. Participants will learn about the chemical and physical properties of common flammable liquids, the science behind foam, and the operation of foam eductors and systems. In the hands-on portion, attendees will set up handlines and eductors using their department's foam equipment, including eductors and on-board foam systems. The training will cover essential skills such as calculating foam bucket duration, application techniques, and basic maintenance of foam eductors.
