As battery-powered technologies such as EVs and energy storage systems expand across Texas, emergency managers face new operational and safety challenges. BatteryIQ is a 4-hour workshop that provides emergency management leaders with practical tools and knowledge to address risks, coordinate responses, and plan for incidents involving lithium-ion batteries. The course features real-world lessons, current trends, and best practices for handling these evolving hazards.
