Michelle is the first woman promoted to Vice Admiral in the Navy Supply Corps and to serve as Director of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Chief of the Navy Supply Corps, and Commander of Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
Michelle earned her reputation for exceptional leadership as the 20th Director of DLA, where she managed a global workforce of 25,000 civilian and military personnel and implemented nearly $50B in annual contracts and sales across eight supply chains with worldwide storage and distribution networks.
Michelle crafted her capacity for strategic planning and operational efficiency through a series of high-profile leadership roles with the United States Navy and the Department of Defense (DoD). As the Commander of NAVSUP and 48th Chief of the Supply Corps, Michelle directed a 22,500-person logistics enterprise that enabled the allocation of resources across a $34 billion goods-and-services portfolio for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, joint, and coalition forces.
