NOBLE’s CEO, Tom Noble, recently attended the grand opening of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s (21st TSC) Millrinder Innovation Center at Panzer Kaserne, Germany. The new facility marks an important step forward in modernizing sustainment across the European theater.
The Millrinder Innovation Center is a technologically advanced sustainment facility that officially opened on March 13, 2026, at Panzer Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, Germany. It serves as a collaborative hub for the U.S. Army, NATO allies, and private industry to develop rapid, localized solutions for modern battlefield challenges.
The Millrinder Innovation Center is a 10,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility designed to deliver sustainment solutions “at the speed of war.” Equipped with capabilities such as 3D printing, robotics, and rapid prototyping, the center enables forward-based production of critical components, reducing reliance on traditional supply chains and significantly improving operational responsiveness.
NOBLE has proudly been an active contributor to this initiative. Our team supported key infrastructure upgrades to the Panzer Innovation Lab Motor pool, including installing a new epoxy floor, upgrading lighting, repainting, and supplying new caging and secure storage for sensitive items.
In addition, NOBLE supplied critical advanced manufacturing equipment, including both polymer and metal 3D printers, complete with software, full installation, and 2 weeks of on-site, hands-on training. We also delivered Innovation Cell collaboration spaces to support cross-functional teamwork and rapid problem-solving.
This effort aligns with the 21st TSC’s broader focus on innovation, training, and readiness, bringing together military, industry, and allied partners to strengthen interoperability and enable faster, more agile sustainment in support of the warfighter.
