It runs during SHOT Week, which takes place from January 19–22 in Las Vegas. Training focuses on protective measures, real-world technology applications (such as lithium-ion battery safety), and tactical training.

Speaker: Brett Bigger

Brett Bigger is a Senior Trainer with Noble IQ, specializing in lithium-ion battery response and emerging technology hazards. With more than 25 years of operational experience, Brett helped develop Washington State’s Battery Response Plan. He has also worked closely with the Washington State Patrol for years, bringing valuable cross-disciplinary insight to both fire and law enforcement audiences.

Brett is the creator of BatteryIQ, one of the industry’s leading lithium-ion hazard awareness and response programs, and continues to play a key role in advancing training and readiness for professionals navigating today’s rapidly evolving battery-powered environment for first responders.
